FSE 4 Meg PIV System                             Back to SYSTEMS

The FSE 4 Meg PIV System is a user friendly, high productivity, Particle Image Velocemetry suite of totally integrated components

The FSE 4 Meg PIV System is based on a Megaplus ES 4.0/E high-resolution digital camera that features a spatial resolution of 4 million pixels, 12 bits

of dynamic range and the ability to expose 7.5 pairs of images per second,

with the two images in each pair separated in time by as little as five

microsecond. An electronic exposure system provides integration times as fast as 127us

9 µm square pixels with unique micro lenses provide excellent light sensitivity under difficult imaging conditions.

The FSE 4 Meg PIV System suite consist of a Megaplus ES 4.0/E digital camera, an EDT PCI DVK interface board, a 2GHz processor with 2GB of memory and a 36GB hard drive, 19" flat panel LCD and FSE acquisition software.

Resolution

4,194,304 pixels provide the high resolution required for PIV applications.

Accuracy

The Double Trigger Exposure feature provides accurate velocity measurement of very fast moving particles.

Ease of Use

With a comprehensive command set and bundled control software, the

FSE 4 Meg PIV System provides the ease of use you expect from FSE's family of unique imaging systems.
