 Chromospheric Helium Imaging Photometer (CHIP) employs a Megaplus

1.6 camera exposing images every three minutes at 1083.0 nm. The

system uses  a 4" reflector.  The 1K x 1.5K original image has been

compressed to 512 x 512.   This image was recorded at the Mauna Loa

Solar Observatory atop Mauna Loa on the island of Hawaii.
